How do I spellcheck in Moodle?
Moodle uses a rich-text editor for its assignment drop-boxes and forums. The rich-text editor allows the writer to make common modifications to any text they are writing. It also allows one to spellcheck. Look for the ABC with a checkmark in the icon menu above the text-editing space. That is your spellchecker. Click on that and the Moodle dictionary will look up all the words in the editor and offer suggestions for text that it finds to be incorrect. Just as in Word, the incorrect word is underlined in red and you can right click in the middle of the text and choose an alternative with a left click.
